Euless City Council
Place 4, Donna Mickan - Term expires: May 2011
Council Member Donna Mickan is a retired educator from Trinity High School. She formerly served on the city's Economic Development Advisory Board and the Euless Historical Preservation Committee and currently is a frequent docent at historic Heritage Park. Donna serves as the City Council's liaison to Grapevine-Colleyville ISD activities. She is a Stephen Minister, on the Administrative Board of First United Methodist Church of Hurst, and sings in the chancel choir. She has served as her neighborhood association's president, on its board and is currently a standing committee chair for beautification.
Donna and her husband Randell moved to Euless in 1964. She was co-owner and operator of Bloomtown Florist when it opened in Euless Town Center in 1981. Donna and Randell have been married 47 years and have two children. Their daughter Marianne Priddy and husband Michael have two children, Mitchell and Michelle. Their son Randy and wife Kelly also have two children, Erin and Samantha. Donna loves to travel, play the piano and sing in the church choir. She is delighted to have the opportunity to serve the city she loves.
