Hazardous Materials Response
The Euless Fire Department provides hazardous materials response through partnerships with 14 other Northeast Tarrant County cities in an organization called NEFDA (North East Fire Department Association). These services are performed by well trained fire and emergency service providers from each participating city.
Each of the fourteen participating cities provides personnel and/or dedicated equipment for a regional response to hazardous materials incidents. Each City maintains a minimum number of Hazardous Materials Technicians on duty each shift, available to respond and deal with hazardous materials incidents in any of the 14 participating communities.
