Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring all daily activities of batting cages and concessions at the Parks at Texas Star Athletic Complex.
Principal Job Duties:
Monitors all activities of the batting cage operation. Provides exceptional customer service in selling of concessions and batting cage tokens. Ensures safety of participants by monitoring the wearing of batting helmets and conduct of participants. Maintains facility cleanliness and ensures equipment is in proper working order. Reports maintenance issues to supervisor daily. Prepares and sells concession items. Assists in resolving participant complaints by recording complaints and referring to appropriate source; settles disputes arising between participants. Secures all cash receipts and facility at closing time. Assists in ball field maintenance as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age with a valid TX driver’s license. Be available to work evenings and weekends, operate cash register, basic computer skills, pass departmental customer service training course and pass food handlers course.
