Youth Services

The Youth Services Department offers a variety of services and programs for youth, from toddlers to young adults. We are here to help you with your needs, from finding information for a school report to finding a good book to read. Come see us!

Check the Calendar of Events for the time and dates of upcoming activities.

There will be no youth programs or classes during the month of August. Programs will resume in September.

Preschool Classes

  • Baby Bounce
    Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

    Lapsit Storytime is 20 minutes of nursery rhymes, books and songs for non-mobile babies.

  • Toddler Time
    (12 – 30 months)
    Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

    Toddler Time is 20 minutes of active songs and stories for babies who are walking and young toddlers.

  • StoryPalooza
    (Ages 3 and Up)
    Tuesday at 11 a.m., Wednesday at 11 a.m., Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

    StoryPalooza is 30 minutes of stories, activities and fun for children.

After School Activities

  • Game-A-Rama
    Compete against your friends and library staff playing all kinds of games!

  • Science Slam
    Combine science and learning for an awesome time at the library!

  • Art Attack
    Learn about art and get in touch with your inner artist at the library!

  • Lego Mania
    Show off your Lego master skills building cool stuff at the library!

  • Jr. Purls of Wisdom (JPOW)
    Learn to loom, knit and crochet. This group is for 3rd grade and older.

  • Teen Rumble
    Activities for teens.
