Youth Services

The Youth Services Department offers a variety of services and programs for youth, from toddlers to young adults. We are here to help you with your needs, from finding information for a school report to finding a good book to read. Come see us!

Summer Reading Club

News Item IconJoin the library for free summer fun by participating in the Summer Reading Club! This year's theme is "Every Hero has a Story." The library will offer many fun programs for kids and families.

Preschool Classes

There will be no youth programs or classes during the month of August. Programs will resume in September.

  • Lapsit
    (Non-walkers)
    Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

    Lapsit Storytime is 20 minutes of nursery rhymes, books and songs for non-mobile babies.

  • Toddler Time
    (12 – 30 months)
    Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

    Toddler Time is 20 minutes of active songs and stories for babies who are walking and young toddlers.

  • StoryPalooza
    (Ages 3 and Up)
    Tuesday at 11 a.m.
    Wednesday at 11 a.m.
    Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

    StoryPalooza is 30 minutes of stories, activities and fun for children.
