SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays - 11:30 a.m.
Senior Citizens Services of Greater Tarrant County, Inc. will provide hot lunches that supply one-third RDA at 11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those under 60, the cost of the meal is $5. For those 60+ and their spouse, the meal is available for a suggested contribution of $2. Reservations are required by Noon the previous day. Forms are required to be filled out in advance of participation in this program. Please call Diane at 817-685-1670 for additional information or to make a reservation.
ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES
Sometimes are you short of money and still need groceries. You can get low cost groceries through Angel Food Ministries each month for a nominal fee. Great values, good food, must sign up by certain days each month at AngelFoodMinistries.com. This program is not just for seniors anyone can buy the groceries. Cash only.

If you want a slower paced class, more relaxed without the twisting & turning. Then this is the class for you.

What do you do with all your plastic table cloths & grocery bags? You make purses, eyeglass cases, vests, rugs, hats and a whole lot more. Come join the class, beginners welcome.

AARP MATURE DRIVING CLASS
The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's first and largest classroom refresher course for drivers age 50 and older that has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today's roads. The 8-hour course is designed as a refresher that can help you learn the effects of aging on driving and how you can adjust your driving.

PLANNING AHEAD FOR YOUR BURIAL: OBITUARIES 101
Everyone needs one, but nobody likes having to do it. It is the last article people will read about you, possibly the last picture they will see of you. Do you have specific things you would like to have in yours? Do you have a picture that is recent? Learn how much it costs to have one put in the paper. This class will help you get ideas about what you want and will make it easier on your loved ones after you are gone. Must register by September 19.

Pre-planning is an act of love that can spare families emotional and financial stress that many experience when arrangements are made when death occurs. Learn what you all need to do to make it easier for your loved ones. The Bluebonnet Hills Funeral and Cemetery Community Outreach Team will be at Simmons to provide you with valuable information. Must register by September 19.
